Refund & Return Policy

At Glowed Up by Didi, we take pride in providing high-quality 100% human hair locs and professional installation services. Due to the nature of our products and services, the following refund policy applies

Hair Extension Products (100% Human Hair Locs)

 

All 100% human hair locs are considered hygiene-sensitive and customised products.

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges once the hair has been opened, used, installed, or altered in any way.

  • We do not offer refunds or exchange on customised products as they are tailored to your preference.

  • Refunds are only considered if:

    • The product delivered is incorrect (wrong length, colour, or type) compared to the original order.

    • Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the product, along with clear photos/videos.

Installation Services (Loc Installations)

 

Once a loc installation service has begun or been completed:

  • All service payments are strictly non-refundable. This includes deposits and full payments.

  • Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Change of mind after installation

    • Preference dissatisfaction after service completion

    • Maintenance-related issues caused by aftercare neglect

We are committed to quality work and encourage clients to communicate concerns during the installation process so adjustments can be made where possible.

Deposits & Bookings​

  • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Deposits secure your appointment time and preparation costs, including product sourcing and scheduling.

Faulty or Defective Products​

 

If a product is confirmed to be faulty:

  • A replacement will be offered where possible.

  • If a replacement is unavailable, a partial or full refund may be issued at management’s discretion.

  • Products must be returned in original condition (unused and uninstalled) for assessment.

Aftercare Responsibility

 

We provide full aftercare guidance for all loc installations.

  • We are not liable for damage caused by:

    • Improper maintenance

    • Product misuse

    • Neglect or incorrect washing/styling techniques

    • Third-party manipulation or styling

Process for Approved Refunds / Exchanges

​​

  • After approval of refund or exchange, the product must be returned within 7 days.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 working days.

  • To start the return process, please contact us on info@glowedupbydidi.com or on 068 632 3699. You will then be given further instructions.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method only.

Right to Refuse Refunds

 

We reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges if:

  • The product has been used or installed

  • The request falls outside the stated timeframes

  • There is no evidence of product fault or error on our side
